Right People. Right Jobs

IS2 Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Field Service Technician for our client in Etobicoke, ON. If you have mechanical skills, we want to hear from you! This role involves traveling within the province.

As a Field Service Technician, you install, maintain and repair scales for our customers across the Atlantic’s. You will be reporting to our Nova Scotia Service Manager

A typical week once ready for field work:

· Monday: You start the week by meeting at the office at 7:30 a.m. to get ready. At 8 a.m., you’ll hit the road by yourself or sometimes paired with a colleague while training or working on big projects! You may spend up to a day on the road to reach customer sites across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. Your days are 8 hours long, but if you need to work longer than that, overtime is paid (see benefits!)

· Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: On these days, you’re often on the road too, serving customers in different locations. You generally spend 4 nights a week away from home, depending on needs and projects in progress. Again, your days are 8 hours long, but we appreciate your flexibility, and all overtime will be paid.

· Friday: You’ll either complete the last of your planned tasks or return to the office to report back on your assignments. You might have some training to complete in the office for next week.

· Weekend: You’re usually off on weekends, but you may get the option to voluntary work on a planned overtime schedule. Keep your phone handy in case an emergency arises.
