Salary:
- No experience? $22/hr to start.
- Some scale experience? $28/hr.
- Fully trained with accreditation & Class 3 License? $33/hr.
Overtime Pay:
- 1.5x after 8 hours and on Saturdays.
- 2x on Sundays and holidays.
Shift Details:
- Monday to Friday, Days with varying start times and end times
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, On-site position.
Location: Etobicoke Area; travelling throughout Ontario (must be able to start at the Etobicoke office when needed)

Qualifications:
- Strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
- Ability to travel extensively, including overnight stays most weeks.
- Willingness to learn about scales and industry-specific practices.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable working in harsh environments.
- Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs.
- Valid G driver’s license with a clean abstract. (Class 3 Driver’s License is a huge asset)
Preferred but not required:
- Experience in electromechanics, mechanical or electrical repair.
- Background in scale repair/calibration.
- Experience in physically demanding role
- Familiarity with technology for troubleshooting and reporting.
- Trade license or accreditation.
- French language skills are an asset.
Duties:
- Install and maintain scales at customer sites.
- Advise customers on proper equipment operation and basic maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair scale equipment.
- Respond to emergency repair requests.
- Provide technical assistance to customers.
- Analyze and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Perform field corrections as needed.
- Adhere to high safety standards.
- Document work through service reports and calibration certificates.
- Participate in required training sessions.
