Job Title: Estimator/Project Manager

Are you an experienced Estimator/Project Manager looking to take your career to the next level? We’re seeking a dynamic and skilled individual to join our team! Position Details

  • Type: Permanent, Full-Time
  • Location: Barrie, ON
  • Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Pay Rate: Competitive, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimating: Accurately prepare cost estimates for projects, ensuring all necessary materials, labor, and equipment are accounted for.
  • Project Management: Oversee projects from inception to completion, managing timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all work meets industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Documentation: Prepare detailed project reports, including project timelines, progress updates, and cost tracking.
  • Problem-Solving: Address any issues that arise during the project lifecycle, offering practical solutions to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

  • Must have previous estimating experience in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction products, materials, and building codes is essential.
  • Engineering diploma or CET (Certified Engineering Technologist) diploma required.
  • Electronics knowledge is an asset and will be considered a plus.
  • Familiarity with Comsense and QuickBooks would be a valuable asset, but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset and ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
